I purchased 9 of these to use in my car's stereo, which has a USB1 drive and detects 4GB max. I basically have a stick for each genre I listen to. The sticks work as they should, small dimensions, and rugged enough to handle all the bouncing and shaking in my car.

You can't possibly go wrong with this unit ESPECIALLY at ABES price! Although I couldn't find the USB specification in the item's description on the website, it is USB 2.0 according to the packaging it comes in. I got a 1GB USB 1.x drive and it's substantially slower! I wouldn't waste my time with anything slower than USB 2.0 drives, at ANY price.

So easy to use with mac! backed up files in seconds! I used it for pictures and documents, but it would hold around 1,000 songs if you wanted. Like Nike, just do it!

Overall I think this a super value. I was amazed at the price/value ratio. One small thing I don't like is that when in use I can't get the cap to secure to the back of the drive. Maybe there's a trick I'm not aware of?
